A star in all directions

3D star from the "Stars in All Directions" collection. Porcelain white and silver bring a touch of winter. snow and ice. In the 3D star collection, we use the unique properties of glass beads strung on a solid wire, so the decorations look a bit like fireworks - simply in all directions.

The production of glass bead ornaments is a traditional craft of the Czech Republic. The star was handmade in Poniklá in the Krkonoše Mountains. The glass beads are silver-plated on the inside with real silver.

Bead ornaments have been handmade in the Krkonoše Mountains for over a hundred years. Before a bead, blown from a glass tube, reaches the finished ornament, it must pass through at least five pairs of skilled hands. The bead craft has a deep tradition in Poniklá and has been a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2020.
