Princess - Star

Pearl star from the Princess collection. Made of silver glass beads combined with a rhinestone ball. Princess Collection Colorful reflections, silver and cut glass stones. Initially inspired by medieval castle vaults, Gothic columns and stained glass windows of cathedrals. Silver-plated beads complemented by cut glass, like from the crowns of real princesses.

The production of glass bead ornaments is a traditional craft of the Czech Republic. The star was handmade in Poniklá in the Krkonoše Mountains. The glass beads are silver-plated on the inside with real silver.

Bead ornaments have been handmade in the Krkonoše Mountains for over a hundred years. Before a bead, blown from a glass tube, reaches the finished ornament, it must pass through at least five pairs of skilled hands. The bead craft has a deep tradition in Poniklá and has been a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2020.
