Easter chain

A simple Easter chain with a chick and red eggs can be used for a spring wreath or other floral decoration. The length of the chain is 13.5 cm.

The production of glass bead ornaments is a traditional craft of the Czech Republic. The decoration was handmade in Poniklá in the Krkonoše Mountains. The glass beads are silver-plated on the inside with real silver.

Bead ornaments have been handmade in the Krkonoše Mountains for over a hundred years. Before a bead, blown from a glass tube, reaches the finished ornament, it must pass through at least five pairs of skilled hands. The bead craft has a deep tradition in Poniklá and has been a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2020.
