Comet - Christmas tree topper

The Star of Bethlehem can now announce Christmas in your home. You can attach the comet made of glass beads to the top of your tree or use it as a window decoration.

The production of glass bead ornaments is a traditional craft of the Czech Republic. The spike was handmade in Poniklá in the Krkonoše Mountains. The glass beads are silver-plated on the inside with real silver.

Bead ornaments have been handmade in the Krkonoše Mountains for over a hundred years. Before a bead, blown from a glass tube, reaches the finished ornament, it must pass through at least five pairs of skilled hands. The bead craft has a deep tradition in Poniklá and has been a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2020.
