Christmas tree topper

The pearl topper - the grand finale of the entire Christmas tree! It has a traditional metal spiral that is placed on the top of the tree. The spiral can be slightly stretched to ensure that the star stays well at the top.

The production of glass bead ornaments is a traditional craft of the Czech Republic. The spike was handmade in Poniklá in the Krkonoše Mountains. The glass beads are silver-plated on the inside with real silver.

Bead ornaments have been handmade in the Krkonoše Mountains for over a hundred years. Before a bead, blown from a glass tube, reaches the finished ornament, it must pass through at least five pairs of skilled hands. The bead craft has a deep tradition in Poniklá and has been a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2020.
